A Month’s Worth of Updates in One Long, Rambling, Bulleted Post:

  • It’s been so long since I used WordPress that I couldn’t remember my password, then when I finally DID get it, the whole interface has been updated.
  • I traded in my car, which I had become convinced was a bad karma magnet, for a cute, karma-free Subaru. It’s the first time in a long time I didn’t experience even a twinge of buyer’s remorse.
  • The doctor has changed my medicine yet again, and I am experiencing the return of “The Tired.” I also have a touch of “The Apathetic” and “The Cranky.” The good news is that after a year or so, I at least am able to recognize what’s going on and not write it off to stress, low-grade flu, post-holiday let down, etc.
  • Resolutions I made after watching 2 hours worth of various videos the VIM and I have shot on trips, around the house, etc: Renew committment to keeping my weight within my healthy range. Don’t wear ratty sweats in public. Continue having as much fun as we’ve had in the past 5 or so years.

Happy New Year, congratulations on the new car! (what did you get? I’m soooo ready for a new car!), and hang in there with the new meds… hope you feel yourself again soon! Glad to see you back (though it’s nice to see you other places, too!)

I got a Subaru Outback, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I was even able to get a manual trans, which was a total bonus (I thought they had gone the way of the dinosaur…). And thanks, it’s nice to be back. I hate to say the word “resolution”, but I DO want to get back to regular posting. I miss having something to go back months and years to look at…

Happy New Year! Fun sounds like a good plan! You’re not alone…I too have ratty sweats syndrome. Hope your new meds work out for you.

Thanks, and Happy New Year to you, too! I LOVE my ratty sweats, and I always think that I won’t run into anyone I know (I’m in denial!). :) I hope the whole medicine thing finally gets settled. It’s been 9 months, and it’s still messed up, tho, so I’m not particularly hopeful.
