Here’s to December.
Here’s to hot, black, Maxwell House coffee on week day mornings, hot, black Dunkin Donuts coffee on weekend mornings, and a nice cup of hot tea on most evenings.
Here’s to fuzzy warm sweaters.
Here’s to Men in Turtlenecks.
Here’s to wrapping up in layer after layer of flannel sheets, fluffy comfoters, and heavy warm quilts.
Here’s to favorite ornaments.

Here’s to not shaving my legs for a week (and not caring).
Here’s to cold weather food – potpie, pork and sauerkraut, meatloaf. Warm Comfort.
Here’s to the first snowflakes. They never actually lay and accumulate. They just sort of swirl around, usually glittering in the sun for a few minutes to Let Us Know that there’s more where THAT came from.
