I’ve started having the elevator dreams again.
It absolutely freaks me out that I don’t ride elevators on a daily basis – don’t see them, don’t think about them, have never had a problem on one in real life, yet I dream about them regularly.
It ALSO freaks me out that even though the dream is different every time, it’s the same – I have a lot of bags or other large items, and I want to go up, and I can’t get to the floor I want. I either end up above it or below it, then have to find the steps and lug all my stuff to the proper floor.
Just once I’d like to get where I’m supposed to be without all the insanity!

Hmmm. Baggage keeping you from where you’d like to go?
Comment by Marie March 25, 2005 @ 11:22 amI was thinking along the same lines as Marie. It could be that you are feeling overwhelmed with responsibilities or other things and that perhaps you are not doing what you would like to be doing because of it. Just a thought!
Comment by Shelly March 26, 2005 @ 2:13 amVery interesting.
Comment by elle March 28, 2005 @ 9:28 pmHave you ever heard of lucid dreaming? That’s the skill of being able to control your dreams while your dreaming. They teach it to kids who have nightmares. Try to change the outcome of your dream – like leave the baggage outside the elevator.
Good luck!
